Using the mobile app to book a desk is very simple and most users can perform this with within 20 seconds. The process follows a common pattern of Search > View Result > Book > Confirmation.
Step 1: Search
From the landing page, click on "Book Desk".
Step 2a : Book via map
The top of the screen shows the date and time criteria for the booking. Some clients may have "All day booking" forced so the user does not need to select a time.
If interactive maps are enabled for a client, the map is then displayed showing availability for the date/time selected. Available desks are shown in green, unavailable desks are shown in red.
Search criteria such as the location, level, and other attributes are listed below the map and these can be edited to refine the search and the results displayed on the map.
The user interacts with the map and taps on the desks to view current occupant, or see the option to book. Tap on "Book" to make the desk booking and see the confirmation.
Step 2b: Book via list
Clients may not have interactive maps, or may prefer view a list of options. The "List" view displays search results based on the criteria entered. From this list, the user taps on "BOOK" to make the booking and see the confirmation message.
Step 3: Confirmation
Once the user clicks on "Book", the booking is made and a confirmation dialog is displayed.
Clicking "CLOSE" then returns to the landing page.
