This method can come handy if changes is needed to be made for an existing installations but the configuration file have been lost. By performing the below steps you can extract an existing configuration from a Room Manager and import the configuration to the Evoko Control Panel where changes can be made and an updated configuration can be exported.
Important! The following method presumes you know the system admin PIN code for the configuration you wish to extract as it will not be possible without it due to security reasons.
For more recent Room Manager versions (8.0.5.8 and above) the option to export files from the system admin menu is available however on earlier versions (8.0.5.5 or below) you would need to access the underlying operating system (Windows CE).

- Export the configuration from 8.0.5.8 or newer
- Export the configuration from 8.0.5.5 or older
- Import the configuration to Evoko Control Panel
Room Manager running version 8.0.5.8 (or above)
- Insert a USB flash drive (4GB or less and FAT-formatted is recommended) in the Room Manager.
- Log in as System Admin on the Room Manager.
- Press Export app files. This will export a folder named
MeetingManagementSetup
from the Room Manager to the inserted USB.
- Application files exported to USB should be displayed once the export is complete, press OK.
- Remove the USB stick from the Room Manager
Room Manager running 8.0.5.5 (or below)
- Insert a USB flash drive (4GB or less and FAT-formatted is recommended) in the Room Manager.
- Log in as System Admin on the Room Manager.
- Press Exit Application in the admin menu and wait until the Windows CE desktop is displayed.
- From the Windows CE desktop navigate to My Device > ResidentFlash > MeetingManagementSetup.
- Mark/highlight the
MeetingRoomConf.xml
file and In the top menu press Edit > Copy. - Navigate back to My Device and then Hard disk (which is your USB).
- In the top menu press Edit > Paste (this should copy the configuration file to your USB).
- Remove the USB flash drive from the Room Manager and Insert it in your PC.
Importing the settings to Evoko Control Panel
- Make sure Evoko Control Panel is installed on the PC. If it is not, download it from https://www.evoko.se/downloads/ and install it.
- Insert the USB flash drive in the PC.
- Launch Evoko Control Panel click Import on the Setup -> Start tab.
- Navigate to the USB stick, open the exported
MeetingManagementSetup
folder, select the configuration fileMeetingRoomConf.xml
and click Open.
- Now the settings are imported into Evoko Control Panel. Make any adjustments needed, then export the settings and apply them to your Evoko Room Managers.
